I graduated from Stanford University with an honors BS in Biology. My minor was in Classical Studies. I am now a student of medicine at Stanford and I am working towards my degree in medicine. Learning has always been important to me, and I am a great believer in its value. I have tutored at a nearby elementary charter school for four years and been a water polo and swim coach. I believe that coaching taught me important teamwork and communication skills. I love teaching and I work for that moment of understanding when all suddenly becomes clear to the student after lengthy frustration has been conquered by hard work. I know that each student's style of learning is different and I strive to mold my instruction accordingly.
