I have successfully taught writing skills for twenty-five years at the junior high, high school and college levels. I also help students edit their college application essays. I developed writing programs at Hofstra University, Palo Alto public schools and Woodside Priory School. Taught English and Writing Lab at Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley. Although retired, but I conduct a program at Woodside Priory helping seniors edit their college application essays. I tutor private students individually. I love theater, concerts, reading and playing bridge. I often take classes at Stanford Continuing Studies. I enjoy discussing politics and history. Talking and traveling with close friends are important to me. I am originally from Pittsburg, PA and New York City, and moved to California many years ago. My husband, a sports writer, came here to work for the Western Edition of The New York Times.
